Hello All-My name is Dick Neighbors and Im from Cincinnati,Ohio. Just like many of you, pool has been my whole life. Its an addiction worse than any habit. All my waking hours I craved to get onto a table and play, my sleeping hours were spent dreaming of shots missed or opportunities of a run-out that were not taken advantage of. I started playing pool at the age of seven, when my father bought a pool table, but I never really got hooked until I went into the Navy in 63. When I got out of the Navy playing pool was all that was on my mind. I then started to do cue repair as a hobby. Other than a few trappers, I really never started to build cues until Sherm Adamson and I teamed up in 1992. At that time I was the manager of a poolhall that Sherm had a share in and we began building cues part time. After about a year I quit managing the poolhall to build cues full time. Sherm and I split up in 1994. I then moved my shop to Columbus, Ohio. I remained in Columbus for three years after which I returned to Cincinnati where I remain to this day. I build cues to order, therefore I dont stock any cues. Please take a look at my cues page to see some of the cues I have built in the past and the prices they have sold for. Hopefully they will give you an idea of my work and my pricing. I do both traditional half-splice prongs and floating points. I exclusively use seasoned exotic woods in my cues with the finest of materials available. My cues have a very sound and solid hit that you will only find in a custom built cue.
