Peggy Alters registered the Pool4u.com domain name and wrote up a simple html page to help keep fellow players keep tournaments in the Kansas City area organized. Soon Peggy started receiving comments from complete strangers thanking her for the site. This kept her motivated to keep it up and expand outside of the greater Kansas City area. Within months, the site has seen growth beyond what anyone expected. When the site registered over 10,000 hits per month a celebration was in order. In June of 2007 we databased our pool halls, tournaments, leagues and businesses and are putting everything we can into advertising our site. We want to be the one place people go to to get information on where to play pool. The next phase of our improvement includes searching by zipcode rather than just by state. Pool4u.com is devoted to posting pool tournaments, tour information, leagues and pool halls as well as providing double elimination tournament brackets, league rules and billiard instruction so you can play better pool.
