Just Ask Jerry in Billiard Wholesale Directory

At 19 Jerry Briesath started playing pool while living in Milwaulkee. Near his home was a little billiard room where Jerry very quickly fell in love with the game. He ran his first 100 balls on a 5 x 10 brunswick table after only 4 years of play. He went on to play in many state and midwest tournaments, and two US Opens. Back then the promoters ranked the players and there were not many events. The last few years he played and won nine out of the 14 he played. Jerry was a very consistant player and was ranked in the top 20 in straight pool and 9-ball. In 1973 he opened Cue-nique, one of the first billiard rooms in the country to implement an electronic cash control system. A couple years later the Cue-nique pool room magement software was born. Jerry taught a great deal and had already established a good reputation as a teacher. One day he gave George Fels a lesson. George was so impressed because at the time no one had broken down the game like Jerry. George wrote Jerrys first Pool Ad. That was in the early 80s and the Pool School has grown to be the longest running and most successful Pool School in the world. It still runs the same ad George wrote. The Pool School currently is still the only real traveling school as Jerry still travels any where in the world to teach. For the last fifteen years, Jerry has been known as the best there is in Instructional Pool. Recently he was named Dean of Master Instructors by the Billiard Congress of America. Since 1996, Jerry has contributed his instructional knowledge to the Internet comunity with Just Ask Jerry - hundreds of questions have been answered. Jerry recently opened up his second room, The Green Room, in Winter of 1997. It is a beautiful upscale, state-of-the-art room on Madisons elite west side. The Green Room was recently voted #6 best room in Amercia by Billiards Digest magazine. Stop by next time your in Madison and ask for Jerry.
