Gerry describes all Billiard games as a Sport/Art. A top player has to be not only in good physical condition but must have the mind of an Artist. Top players are always designing and developing patterns or layouts, and sometimes they may purposely leave themselves with an impossible looking shot and then make it, just to highlight their mastery over the table. He began his career mostly playing Snooker, mixed with a little 8-Ball and Straight Pool. After playing for only 3 years he was crowned both Snooker & Pool Champion of his hometown. Because of his love for the game it didnt end there, so he began traveling in search of matches that would help in the further development of his all around knowledge of the table.
