Business History; 8-BALL BAILEYS, previously known as the OMEGA BAR, had been known to many as a rough and/or bad place to go to, because of the past history of the venue and reputation. 8-BALL BAILEYS has had a complete rejuvination, as far as clientele go, were sure that after the installation of siz security cameras, all clients can feel safe and comfortable in the surroundings that we have to offer, which includes seven brand new Pot Black 7ft pool tables, as well as six 9ft, two 10ft and one 12ft snooker table for our clients to enjoy. We serve light snacks, hot-dogs, toasted sandwiches, we are also fully licenced to operate from the hours of 2pm to 1am. The name 8-BALL BAILEYS originated from my son, his name is Bailey Jones and he is just two years and five months old, and plays pool for about 2-3 hours daily, he loves it. I guess he just wants to be like his dad. My success in cue sports comes from playing the best that Australia has to offer, in as many national tournaments as possible. Since the birth of my children, Bailey and Nikita, the amount of tournaments Ive entered is limited, but still remain very active in playing as well as promoting the sport of Pocket Billiards. 2000 saw the formation of the Association of Pocket Billiards Australia Incorporated, which has grown to nearly one hundred members, getting more players playing Cue Sports.
